Monthly Storage Fees
Inventory Storage Fees are typically charged between the 7th and 15th day of the month following the month the fee applies to. For example, to see your Inventory Storage Fee for January, refer to the February Payments report for transactions from February 7-15.
Fees vary by product-size tier and by month. Although standard-size products are often smaller than oversize products, they require more complex and costly shelving, drawers, and bins for storage. Fees are charged by cubic metre, however, so overall storage fees for standard-size products may be less than that of oversize products, based on volume.
January to September $19.40 per cubic metre1 per month
October to December $26.50 per cubic metre1 per month
Long Term Storage Fees
Starting May 15, 2019, inventory stored in Australian fulfilment centres more than 365 days will incur a long-term storage fee on the 15th of every month. The long-term storage fee rate is $160 per cubic metre or $0.10 per unit. Whichever fee is greater will be charged.
1Actual storage is calculated on a per cubic metre basis and rounding variances may occur.
NOTE: The local Selling on Amazon fees will apply from the market from which the order originated and will be in addition to the total FBA fee. All fees are exclusive of GST and other taxes that are payable by the seller.
