With Fulfilment by Amazon (FBA), you only pay for the services you use. There are no subscription fees, contracts or minimum inventory requirements. Ship your products to our fulfilment centres and pay for fulfilment services and storage space used.

The fulfilment fee is a flat fee that you pay per unit, based on the product type, its dimensions and its weight.
How to use the chart in the pdf
To use the chart, simply take your product’s dimensions (cm) and its Outbound Shipping Weight (gm) and compare them with the first row in the table below. If your product’s package dimensions (any side) or Outbound Shipping Weight exceed any of the maximum values listed, move to the next largest tier (row).

Storage fee
With FBA, you only pay for the space you need to store your items in an Amazon Fulfilment Centre. Storage fees are based on the daily average volume in cubic metre per month.
Fees vary between (January to September) and (October to December).

Monthly Storage Fees
Inventory Storage Fees are typically charged between the 7th and 15th day of the month following the month the fee applies to. For example, to see your Inventory Storage Fee for January, refer to the February Payments report for transactions from February 7-15.
Fees vary by product-size tier and by month. Although standard-size products are often smaller than oversize products, they require more complex and costly shelving, drawers, and bins for storage. Fees are charged by cubic metre, however, so overall storage fees for standard-size products may be less than that of oversize products, based on volume.

Long Term Storage Fees
Long Term Storage Fees (LTSF) were initially scheduled to commence in February 2019, however these fees will no longer be charged.
A future announcement will be made to update sellers on a revised LTSF scheme for Australia after March.

Calculating the outbound shipping weight Standard-size and special oversize
The outbound shipping weight is calculated for each individual unit by adding the packaging weight to the unit weight. The total for each unit is rounded up to the nearest gram. The outbound shipping weight is then used to calculate the fulfillment fee based on the rates listed above.
Other services from FBA
Removals. You can ask to have your inventory returned to you at any time, hassle-free. The removal rate also includes return shipment to an AU address.
Disposal. You can request to have your inventory disposed of on your behalf.
Removal and Disposal fees are charged per item removed. Typically, removal and disposal orders are filled within 10-14 business days. However, removal order processing may take up to 30 days or more during the holiday season and peak removal periods (February, March, August, and September).
